Product Overiew
The HoverMatt® Half-Matt uses a cushion of air to help healthcare staff move patients smoothly between surfaces while reducing the physical effort required. Its shorter 45-inch (114 cm) design supports the patient’s upper body while leaving the lower body accessible, making it useful for procedures such as gynecology, urology, and labour and delivery.
Available in 34-inch (86 cm) and 39-inch (99 cm) widths, depending on the model, the Half-Matt supports patients weighing up to 600 lbs (272 kg). It comes in reusable and single-patient-use versions to meet different healthcare needs.
The mattress requires a compatible HoverTech air supply to operate. A minimum of three caregivers is required during transfers, including one to support the patient’s legs.
